CENTRAL LIBRARY
The Department of Library is located on the 1st floor of the Library building of Rammohan College. Central Library offers different kinds of books and Journal. There are 2 separate section for science, Commerce and arts books. The facility is large with a comfortable and peaceful reading area and an electronic catalogue for quick information retrieval and services.
It also has a vast digital library on the lines of the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) module, from where students can access a wide range of online books and journals
Rules and Regulations
- Silence should be maintained in the library.
- User must bring their library membership cards to use the library.
- Library resources should be used with care.
- In case of loss or damage documents fine will be calculated or not allowed for library uses.
- User use reading room for reading and submit documents on the particular counter, they should not go on the library racks.
- Library cards are non – transferable.
- Loss of library cards reported immediately.
- Librarian may recall any book at any time from any member.
- Cell phones should be put on silence inside the library.
- The library monitored through CCTV.
- Library is your Property, keep it properly.
Borrowing Rules:
U.G. (Honours) ---> 3 books for 15th days / each book.
U.G (General) 2 books for 15th days/book.
***Fine Rupees 1 / Day/ Book.
Full Time Professor ---> 20 books for 6 months / each book.
SACT 10 books for 6 months / each book. *** Fine will be calculated as per rules.
